Timothy Olson, a Realtor/Broker, has been active in the property management field for the past 19 years. His career in management began as an area coordinator for several offices of the Texas Department of Human Services. Before leaving state government Mr. Olson was the Regional Business Officer responsible for the management of over 60 offices throughout south Texas.In 1984, Mr. Olson resigned his position from the state to enter the private sector. Since that time he has acquired and currently manages accounts with a total of over 78,000 square feet of office and retail space as well as a portfolio of multi and single family units. Additionally, he is active in real estate as an owner/developer. Mr.Olson belongs to the National Association of Realtors, and the Texas Apartment Association.
Mr. Olson graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master's Degree in Education Administration in 1973. He and his wife, Rose Ann, have lived in the McAllen area since 1977. They are the parents of 7 children and 11 grandchildren. Having lived in both Argentina and Uruguay for 5 years, Mr. Olson is fluent in Spanish. Annual education courses approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission are taken in order to satisfy licensing requirements and remain current in the field.
